Whatever happened to writing on objects?

Scissors with great poems of blood
            Cut off bits of finger
            Unwanted paper shreds
            Yarn, twine, thread,
            Specks of glue
            Or tape
Maybe even meat: chicken, beef, pork
String poems, rubber band poems, paper clip
Telephone
Trashcan
Computer
Toilet
Bicycle
Poems on washing machines, dryers, all manner of appliances
Blenders, toasters, microwaves
Vegetable poems, poems cut out of bread

I would write a haiku on a car:

            This is not a car;
           This is a lark bone.
