Conversations of Festival International 2011

How are you?
You'll just have to suck at a bar.
Men in hats love cold beer.

That girl's from Ireland.
We're gonna see it.
I know you, and you've got a feeling.

Orangutan, a baby gorilla.
We've got a dog with them.
I think I took two.

Oh, you got a rat, that's awesome.
I know you said the meat kabob was good.
It was a bowl of fish.

Me neither, I knew brown.
No, you didn't.
Everybody got family probably.

I lost my shoes last night, so I was walking everywhere barefooted, and then finally I found them.
Hey, you know, I messed with the wrong mechanic.
He got tired of walking after he traded his Mustang for an eight-ball of cocaine.

method: I walked around the festival with a recording device, picking up fragments of people's random conversations, usually no more than a single random line. After listening to the recording, I arranged these lines into a poem that is significantly less dark as compared with my previous Festival International work.
